Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 19, 2026
Governer is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). While we strive for full compliance, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to address known gaps.
Measures Taken
- Semantic HTML structure throughout the application.
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements.
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
- ARIA labels on interactive components (buttons, modals, navigation).
- Responsive design that works across screen sizes and orientations.
- Dark and light theme support to accommodate visual preferences.
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements.
- Alternative text for informational images and icons.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that need improvement:
- Compliance scan reports: Complex data tables in scan reports may not be fully screen-reader optimised. We are working on improved table semantics.
- Charts and visualisations: Trust Score and risk score visualisations provide text alternatives but may not convey all information to screen reader users.
- Third-party content: Some embedded content from third-party services may not meet our accessibility standards.
European Accessibility Act Compliance
In accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which became enforceable in June 2025, we are committed to providing accessible digital services to all EU users. We conduct regular accessibility audits and prioritise remediation of identified barriers.

Assessment Approach
We assess accessibility through:
- Self-assessment using automated tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools).
- Manual keyboard and screen reader testing.
- Ongoing review of user feedback.
